Privacy Policy

Effective: April 2026·Jurisdiction: Canada (PIPEDA)

Overview

Tech Automation Services ("tas", "we", "our") is a Canadian company building Cluster1 — a governed AI operations platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information collected through our website (techautomationservices.com) and early access programme, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We collect only what is necessary to operate the early access programme and communicate with you about Cluster1.

What We Collect

  • Full name and work email address (required to process an early access request)
  • Company or organisation name (optional, provided at your discretion)
  • IP address and browser metadata (collected automatically for rate limiting and security purposes)
  • Communication history if you contact us directly by email

We do not collect payment information, government-issued identifiers, or sensitive personal data at this stage.

How We Use Your Information

  • To evaluate and process your early access application
  • To communicate with you about Cluster1 product updates, access timelines, and founding partner terms
  • To maintain rate-limiting and security controls on our API endpoints
  • To comply with legal obligations under Canadian law

Data Residency

All personal information submitted through this website is stored and processed in Canada. We do not transfer your personal data to servers outside of Canada without your explicit consent or unless required by law.

This commitment to Canadian data residency is structural — it is an architectural constraint of how Cluster1 is deployed, not a configuration option that can be changed without your knowledge.

Retention

We retain early access application data for up to 24 months from the date of submission, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. If your application is accepted and you become a founding partner, a separate data processing agreement will govern retention under that relationship.

Your Rights Under PIPEDA

  • Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Right to correction: You may request that inaccurate information be corrected
  • Right to withdrawal: You may withdraw consent and request deletion of your data at any time
  • Right to complaint: You may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@techautomationservices.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR)

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To submit a formal data request:

1. Email contact@techautomationservices.com with the subject line "Data Request" 2. State your name and the email address you used to submit your early access application 3. Specify what you are requesting — access, correction, or deletion

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond in full within 30 days, as required under PIPEDA. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.

Cookies and Tracking

This website uses only essential cookies — session state and security tokens necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics platforms, or behavioural profiling. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

Third-Party Services

Our site is hosted on infrastructure within Canada. We do not share your personal information with third parties except where required by law or where you have given explicit consent. If we integrate a third-party service (such as a mailing list provider) in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be notified before any data transfer occurs.
